CRIME SCENE: True Stories from the Life of a Forensic Investigator

‘Day after day my life was consumed by killings, distress and gruesome sights, each one adding another piece to an ever-growing mosaic that seemed to be made up of bloodied disposable gloves, plastic bags and human waste. My mind was becoming filled with these remnants, storing them for later …’

When Esther McKay, an idealistic young constable with the NSW police, entered the tough, male-dominated world of forensic investigation, she was determined to hold her own. She soon found herself at deeply confronting crime scenes, often working alone and without supervision. Her cases ranged from a beautiful young girl machetted to death by her jealous boyfriend to the electrocution of a small child, from the Newcastle earthquake victims to the suicide whose body had liquidified in his poisoned car.

Eventually it became too much to bear. After years of long, lonely, exhausting days and nights, and the following a particularly harrowing high-profile case involving the disappearance of two young boys, Esther had a breakdown and was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. She was discharged from the police force hurt in the line of duty, and ultimately began a remarkable journey to recovery.

The book is Esther's story. Powerful, moving and unforgettable. CRIME SCENE takes us inside the life of a forensic investigator, and reveals as never before the extraordinary demands and dangers of forensic work.

Correct details are what one should look for in replica watchesreplica watches and this is exactly what you would get in Bell and Ross BR01 92 replica. If you wonder whether the replica watches are correct on the quality department matter or not, then the answer is that they very much matter and that is why we have come with such a positive review of this watch. For good rolex replica, it is a must to have genuine like features to ensure it looks original and this is what we have got from Bell and Ross. It is a solid watch made for quality conscious lot breitling replica. The band quality is although a bit poor as compared to its other features, yet it offers a great movement. One can expect some good features from this replica watches like accurate marking of placements with nice and exact colours, Swiss made text and the best feature of this watch is its proportionate shape and size. It is definitely a good piece amongst the rolex replica we have been seeing and using breitling replica. Appearance is definitely quite good in the replica watches but apart from details what makes Bell and Ross BR01 92 Replica Watch such a successful rolex replica attempt is the real like qualities and features it provides its users. If a watch is able to offer original like features even after being a replica, it scores over every other breitling replica. Overall, according to us it is a nice piece at such a low and affordable price which makes it a must buy!!! Many people feel that all replica watches are the same. Contrary to their belief, if you are a watch collector and a rolex replica lover, you would yourself notice a great change in every time piece. Each watch tells a story about who has made it, how it was crafted, and what quality process was taken into its manufacture to ensure that the end product is remarkable and same as the original breitling replica.
