CRIMES ACT 1914 SECT 27
27 Unlawful drilling
- (1)
- Any person who:
- (a)
- in contravention of the directions of a proclamation
by the Governor-General in that behalf, trains or
drills any other person to the use of arms or the
practice of military exercises, movements, or
evolutions; or
- (b)
- is present at any meeting or assembly of persons,
held in contravention of the directions of a
proclamation by the Governor-General, for the purpose
of there training or drilling any other person to the
use of arms or the practice of military exercises,
movements, or evolutions;
shall be guilty of an indictable offence.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years.
- (2)
- Any person who, at any meeting or assembly held in
contravention of the directions of a proclamation by the
Governor-General in that behalf, is trained or drilled to
the use of arms or the practice of military exercises,
movements, or evolutions, shall be guilty of an indictable
offence.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years.
