 THE DIPLOMA OF POLICING PRACTICE

PHYSICAL FITNESS REQUIREMENTS

A document, Physical Fitness Requirements for the Diploma of Policing Practice and Operational Policing Duties, can be obtained from CSU, or you can contact the NSW Police Recruitment Branch on 029 689 7977.
As mentioned before, students  must be able to demonstrate a fitness level that is approximately 80% of that required for your final assessment upon commencement of Session 2.
It is vital for your entry to the Diploma that you read and understand this important aspect of the program.

POLICE PLACEMENT INFORMATION

All on-campus (KAPP) and Distance Education (EADP) students will be enrolled at the commencement of Session 1 and 1B respectively in JST 116: the Context of Policing, a subject relating to the police placement.

The police placement will be of 80 hours duration and must be undertaken prior to the commencement of Session 2. The four-week break between Sessions 1 and 2 will be available for completing this placement for on-campus students; DE students will complete the placement during Session 1B.

Graduate students (KAPG) must complete a police placement of 80 hours prior to the commencement of Session 2.
