ABOUT THIS COURSE
The B Policing has been developed in collaboration with the NSW Police Force. The B Policing is designed for school leavers seeking a career in policing and also for serving officers who want to further their education, maximising prior learning and policing expertise.
The course combines studies in policing with related studies in criminology, computing, communication, community welfare, fraud control, law, policy, sociology, and youth work.
The course curriculum reflects the trends in modern contemporary management techniques, an appreciation of the diverse nature of Australian society, a client-focused approach to serving the community, and professional development within the policing services.
This course provides you with the flexibility to extend your studies over a longer period of time by taking fewer units each session.
Students may choose to accelerate or extend the course by varying the number of subjects per semester.
