Danny
Webster was born in Cooma in the southern tablelands of
New South Wales. He joined the New South Wales Police
Service in 1976, and received his initial training at
the old Redfern Police Academy. He spent the following
18 years carrying out general police duties in both city
and country areas of the state and was awarded the
National Medal for Service in 1993. In 1994 he
transferred to the Goulburn Police Collage where he is
currently a Sergeant and Lecturer in the School of
Patrol Policing. In 1996 he completed a Diploma in
Applied Policing (Charles Sturt University).
BEYOND
COURAGE is the product of many years keen interest
and research into the history of policing in New South
Wales.
